Must See
Ocean, streets, scenic, cuisine. I don't like seafood but I
ate it here. I think they can make anything taste great. My
favorite location in Europe so far. The hotel rooms were even,
what we would consider, normal size.

Donostia, better without Spaniards
"The Basque country is the origin of Spanish
language!!!!". Great (and inaccurate) comment... The origin
of the Spanish language is Latin. The origin of Basque language
is unknown, but they know it doesn't belong to the Indo-European
language family (the common root for romance and Germanic
languages). People might not know this. That's because the
central Spanish government has been hiding the marvelous
uniqueness of this people. Visit Donostia and learn about the
Basques.

SAN SEBASTIÁN = DONOSTIA
It is amazing how people can express opinions that rely on
false facts. SAN SEBASTIÁN is Spain today, like it or not;
Average Spanish people do not hate the Basque country at all, it
is only a small minority who caused all this pain and blood. SAN
SEBASTIÁN is a name as official as DONOSTI, one in Spanish, one
in Basque. Who said that they do not speak Spanish? The Basque
country is the origin of Spanish language!!!! Learn That!!!
Nowadays only 20% of the population can speak Basque fluently,
but nearly everyone speaks Spanish. And... YES, this Basque town
is amazingly beautiful, food is out of this world and we are as
friendly as can be.

If it's not Basque is crap
To Rasgon and his stupid comments down below: When you
publish "objective data" it's necessary to publish the
source you are making the reference to. Spanish don't hate Basque
terrorist. Spanish hate Basques, period. No matter if they are
pacific or not. Spanish hate Basques and their attempt to
separate from the mainland because it attacks their stupid,
imperialist and artificial patriot feelings. Basque Country is
NOT a region from Spain. PART of the Basque Country is a region
from Spain BUT there is a Basque Country in France too.
Therefore, Basque Country habitants don't consider themselves
Spanish. Some because they are French and have no relation with
Spain, others because they belong to the oldest ethnic group in
Europe. In the Basque Country people speak Basque, French and
Spanish. And Basque is less used than Spanish thanks to Franco
and his nazi cultural genocide. And yes, Donostia (San Sebastian)
is the most beautiful city in the world.

A explain by a Basque
First: Spanish people DON'T HATE San Sebastian or Donosti
(twice are well said). They hate the Basque terrorists that want
the independence killing people. Second: The Basque Country is a
Spanish region -a Community-, but more independent than other
Spanish regions because his History. Third: Most of Basque
Country habitants feel like Spanish and they don't like
independence. Fourth: Here we speak Spanish and Basque. Basque is
still less used, especially in the south of Basque Country. These
are objective data. Greetings from the most beautiful city in the
world, San Sebastian

It is in Spain
Despite the wishful thinking, the bile - or the sheer
ignorance, Donostia or San Sebastian is in the Basque Country
region of Spain.

Donostia
It's not even called San Sebastian, that's Spanish, and they
don't speak it, it's Donostia, and it's fantastic.
